Photography Philosophy
At Camp Abegweit, we know that while your child is at camp, photos are your window into your child’s camp experience.
We currently do not have a dedicated media person at camp. It is a shared responsibility amongst the leadership team at camp.
No minimum or maximum number of images uploaded per week.
Capturing images is done “as time permits” basis. Therefore, we cannot guarantee a quantity of images per week.
Where are the images from camp?
If you're not seeing images from your child's week at camp, be patient. Images will be posted to the camps website as soon as possible.
Facial Expressions
Please do not be alarmed if you do not see your child smiling in all photos. There are several factors, in many instances this is due to campers being in between expressions, and not aware that they are in a photo. They also may be focusing on a task, and therefore may not be smiling.
Inclement Weather
We can’t control the weather and on days of inclement weather there are usually less photos taken.
Photo Requests
We don’t have the capacity to fulfill photo requests currently. If you would like an update on how your child is doing while at camp. Please contact us and we’ll request information from our directors.
Photo Release
During the registration process you will be asked to sign our photo release waiver. This waiver gives us permission to use your child's photo for marketing purposes.
Campers & Cameras
Campers are not permitted to take pictures using cameras of any type while at a camp. If a camper would like a photo, they can ask one of our Directors to take a photo. Campers are welcome to take pictures during registration and departure.
Copyright
Camp Abegweit retains copyright of all images, and images cannot be sold or used without explicit written permission of Camp Abegweit. Contact us for more information.
